Daddy's Girl and Boy

There's nothing quite like holding both your baby girl and good doggie as they sleep in your lap. It's a dead heat as far as which of the two sleeps more these days though. Jack has finally calmed now that Gabby has been around for the past four days. He still whines whenever she cries and, as depicted above, enjoys being close to her. We had hoped he would be protective of her and not try to eat her. So far, he has been very gentle around her. We're still extremely careful and cautious, but these are definitely encouraging signs. Unfortunately, though, Jack had another episode/seizure this evening. He had been outside and didn't seem interested in doing anything before it took place. I had just put up the Pack N Play in the living room when I noticed his head and front limbs in distress. His jaw wasn't completely locked this time, but it otherwise mirrored his first one from this weekend. It seemed to last a little longer than the previous one too. Poor little guy. He and Gabby both have pretty much slept ever since that happened, so things were seemingly back to "normal" again.
