Goodbye Grandma and Grandpa

Gabby had to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa today before they headed home to Columbus, Ohio. Grandma was a big help with household items (cooking, laundry, etc.) and baby care while Grandpa took on a few projects (hanging a shelf in Gabby's room, taking care of front door squeek, playing the role of photographer, etc.). I know Gabby also enjoyed sitting on Grandpa's lap to watch her first Ohio State football game. Go Bucks! I told her it was okay to root for them during football season, but come basketball season it would be a different Big Ten team. And I have to find a DePauw outfit in time for Monon this year too. Or maybe just a 0-3 Tiger costume.

We also appreciated Grandma and Grandpa staying an extra day today so that Mommy didn't have to stay home alone while I started my first day at work. I know Mommy will have her hands full with both Jack and Gabby until their schedules become more routine. Hang in there, it won't be that long until Thansgiving...
