Pacify Me

Now that Gabby has decided to begin taking a bottle again, I feel like I have a life once more! I no longer have to worry about being out of the house for only 2 hours, because I can leave a bottle behind for my little girl! With this new revelation, I decided to use a gift certificate some co-workers of mine gave me before Gabby was born and get a deep tissue massage this morning. It was so nice to just lie there in a calm, serene place and not have to sing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" a million times in an hour! Gabby stayed at home with her Papaw and enjoyed their special bonding time. She behaved like a champ, of course. In addition to taking a bottle now, Gabby also started taking a pacifier this week. (It's been a big week!) Although we use it sparingly, it has helped soothe her sore gums and take away some of that extra sucking energy she has at bedtime.
