Visits to Great-Grandma's

Gabby made a short road trip to Kenton's Mamaw's house today for a special visit. Although she was a little timid of the "strangers" at first, she warmed up to them quickly and exhibited her finest smiles, coos, and giggles. Mamaw's sister, Jewel, was over visiting as well, so Gabrielle had a wonderful audience. I guess that Gabby decided to go on a sleeping strike today, considering that she slept for just over one hour between the hours of 11 am and 8 pm. I don't know about her, but I hope that strike was short-lived. It isn't easy entertaining a little one for that many hours! At dinnertime, Gabby got her first tastes of rice cereal. She didn't care for it much, so we'll try again in a few days. We might have to go for the oatmeal if the rice doesn't cut it with her taste buds. She probably has a sweet tooth like her Mama.
