Gabby got to spend some good, quality time with her other boyfriend, Charlie Golden, tonight. He wooed her with his cunning wit and handsome looks. Charlie is the son of our friends, Ken and Betsy Golden, from church. Charlie is still recovering from his heart surgery a few months ago, but is doing sooooo well! What a little fighter! Ken and Betsy kindly invited us over for the most delicious dinner prepared with such care. Betsy, the babies, and I played in the living room while the men chatted and finished meal preparations. It was wonderfully relaxing. During dinner, Gabby jumped in Charlie's "Johnny Jumper"--you know, one of those bouncy things you put in the doorway the smashes up the kid's hands? Yeah, well Gabby's hands were smash-free. She loved it and bounced away for 45 minutes while we chowed down. It was such a nice, warm evening admist the sleet and rain that fell all day long.
