I hadn't even read OurTown until a girlfriend of mine told me about it and encouraged me to put it on at my HS. I read it - and honestly, it changes my life.
I cannot imagine how funny it was to have an umbrella collapse!! In ours, the kids used to crawl up under the stage and stick their fingers through little holes in the stage to make the dead people laugh during the last scene!
