4-Year-Olds Playing Soccer
Gabby visited her cousin Emma at her soccer game on Saturday morning. It was very cold out because of the wind, but we cuddled and stayed as warm as possible. Emma was rather distracted by all of the family members in audience, but still got in a few good kicks on the ball. Here is game footage followed by my take on it all:
Did you know that they now have cookouts, bouncy houses, official uniforms, and carnival tricks at soccer games? It's crazy, but the kids had fun.
Did you know that Emma's soccer coach spent a lot of time picking up her little 4-year-old team members and physically placing them where they needed to go since it was easier than telling them? Too funny! She seemed like a fun coach.

How to Play Soccer Like A 4-Year-Old:

Step 1: Run to your place on the field, then hop around in excitement.
Step 2: Run around in a circle until you find your actual spot, then watch fellow teammate run backwards to his.
Step 3: Get the ball in play, chase it down the field.
Step 4: Watch teammate trip and fall over the ball. Follow opposing team as they steal the ball and head down the field toward their goal.
Step 5: Try to reach ball to kick it. Kick it, but in the wrong direction. Steal ball from own teammate.
Step 6: Look at Daddy on sideline who is reminding the 4-year-old which direction to kick the ball.
Step 7: Bunny hop back to your original spot.
