Sweetness and Tantrums

Some might wonder how sweetness goes with tantrums, but these days it does. One second Gabrielle will be so sweet and cuddly and the next she is a complete nightmare. She would be happiest if I had her surgically attached to my hip, but Mommy would not be able to stand not having her "breaks" in the day! This video is a wonderful example of how strong-willed my child is. She seems to have gotten a temper from someone, but I don't know who....hmm...actually she had no hopes of being calm since both Kenton and I have bad tempers. Poor thing! She gets it honestly at least!

I love the reality of that! And poor sweet Jack, trying to cheer her up.

Okay, Ryan totally stopped playing in the other room to come check out the "I-ing." (crying) I think he was shocked to see his little Babby crying. But when it ended he said, "More!" (Just the opposite of what you're thinking, I'm sure!)

Okay, that was cute. Probably not at the time, but I loved how Jack came to check things out! I've seen that from Grace once or twice, usually when she is terribly exhausted! :) I can totally relate! Luckily the tantrums aren't as frequent as the sweetness.

Oh man that is totally how it is...I will have to get Josie on video. Jack was so sweet to try and make her better. Why was she so mad in the first place???

Emily...thank you for posting this...while I know that Max isn't the only toddler acting up, it is a little reassuring to see another child in tantrum mode. I of course am not happy to see you having to deal with it, because I know how difficult it can be....hugs!
