Come On Now
Last night Gabby's Grandma Deb ("Mamaw" as she calls her) came over for dinner to celebrate her *ahem* 55th *ahem* birthday with us. After a lovely meal and some present opening, we went into the living room to sit for awhile. Gabrielle really wanted to watch TV, so she picked up the remote and kept aiming it at the TV trying to get it to turn on . Button after button, she pushed and poked, but nothing would turn it on. She aimed it once more and then said, "Come on now!" loud and clear. It was so funny. Of course, she has to place the emphasis on "now" instead of "on" like most people, so it sounded even stranger. Kenton and I were laughing so hard. She has been saying "Come on now!" for awhile, but she hasn't ever really used it in context yet. Can't wait to see what funny things she says today!

I laughed so hard when you told me that story!! Doesn't it make you wonder how many times you or Kenton have said that? What a hoot!
Aw, so cute! Just like I told you yesterday- it is just the beginning! :)
That is hilarious! I love when they start stealing adult phrases like that. At least it was that and not a cuss word....imagine my surprise when my (then) 2 year old cousin said "*&^#" when he couldn't get the remote to work. I know....someone in my family cussing? Hard to believe.
lol - I died laughing at your comment. "christian come Jew"
oy!
She is too funny! I can't wait to hear all of the other things she will begin repeating...
Come on now, you need to post some new stuff.
