First Haircut
Gabby's hair was...well...out of control. It stuck out in every direction and was even wild when we put it in pigtails. So this morning we headed over to our neighbor's house across the street (she cuts hair out of her home) and got those crazy ends cut off. Because I was by myself with Gabby, I didn't get any photos of the actual haircut. She had to sit on my lap because she was screaming at first, but soon calmed down and behaved for the rest of the cut. The "after" shots are above. Her hair will always have that natural wave, but hopefully in time it will lay down properly.

Awww...it's almost a little flip! So cute. I love the little finger waves, she's so retro. :-)
I love the bangs sweeping across her face! What a big girl hair cut....did you save any of the hair from her first cut? So cute!!
SO pretty!
I bet her hair will grow like wild now that you have had that first cut...
I love it! And what's this about eventually laying down properly? I would LOVE if Grace's hair looked as put together as Gabby's in that picture! That's what you get with crazy curls, though. :)
Cute hair, Gabby!
I agree--it looks ADORABLE!!! I cannot believe she made it this long w/o a haircut. I never thought her hair looked unmanageable, so you must be a good stylist! (Unlike SOMEONE's daughter who had a mullet at 9 months...That was my daughter, by the way! I can't believe nobody reported me to CPS.)
