Like Mother Like Daughter
Gabrielle and I have been having special "piano time" each day. She LOVES to play the piano and will even let me play alone and rehearse sometimes. She used to insist that she had to be on the piano with me every moment that I was there. C'mon, Mommy can't be doing anything fun without her, right? I gave her a few moments to play the piano all by herself the other day and this is what I captured. I couldn't choose which video was the funniest, so I put them all up. Typical mother to share too many videos of her kids, right? (By the way, I had to watch the videos in Mozilla Firefox to get them to load quickly. Just thought I would try out a new video embed program that allows for HD video...even though mine wasn't HD.)

Well, the last one was my favorite....so confusing yet clear at the same time! :-)
Oh, btw...you have no "feed" for Google Reader. Can your techie genius husband fix that?
Reese, Ryan, and I all loved watching these clips! I'm trying to encourage them to take piano someday, so it's never too early to push them in that direction!
I loved the last clip especially. Obviously she was doing what you asked, hitting the keys and looking down, down, down for the low notes! C'mon, Mom! :)
TOO cute! She is getting SO big! I miss you guys. Thanks for the encouragement you left on my blog; I really appreciate your thought and prayers. And yes, Travis did mention to me about the 12th; are we still on? We are super excited about some major Gabby time! (Of course, we'd love to spend time with you and Kenton, too, whenever you guys can fit us in to your very busy schedule!)

I am loving those clips! Another talented one in the family for sure! On her first cut, she really sang with heart...I was feeling it!!!
What a smartie! I'm sure she'll be playing better than me in no time. Oh, wait...she already does.
So cute! I love how she puts her elbows on the piano in the first clip and then sings the Wiggles song in the second. I can't wait to hear her playing in person!
Watching this makes me want to get a piano so bad! Did you know I took lessons for 11 years and have taught lessons to 7 or 8 kids? So fun!
