Lazy
I have a few photos and videos to post, but mostly we have been lazy with the camera since Kenton's foot surgery. One of these days I'll get it all on here, but for now, here are some Gabby funnies...
Today:
Me: "Are you done with your lunch?"
Gabby: "No. I want something else. How about cow's food?"
Me: "Cow's food? What are you talking about? What do cows eat?"
Gabby: "Macaroni and cheese."
Yesterday:
Me: "Gabby, we need to go to the store in a minute so can you get your shoes on please?"
Gabby: "You go to the store by yourself. I stay here and play with Jackers."
Me: "You are going to stay home by yourself?"
Gabby: "Yes, and play with Jackers."
Me: "If Mommy leaves, what will you do if you get hurt? Who will kiss your boo-boos?"
Gabby: "Molly!" (her favorite baby doll)
It appears as if I have been easily replaced.
Yesterday:
Gabby: "Mommy, you put our art projects on window?"
Me: "Yes, I'm going to hang them now. See, look at them!"
Gabby: "Oh, AWESOME!"
When did my 2-yr-old start saying "awesome?"
Today:

Ahhh, they grow up so fast! I can't believe how insightful she is already!
I hope Kenton is feeling better and that you had a nice Christmas!
Those are too funny. Ah, that Gabby- such a crack-up! :) I can't believe how much she is talking. Keith said the same thing! She is getting way too big.
BTW, I think you have an excuse for not blogging much (Kenton's surgery), although maybe it's because you have been playing way too much Guitar Hero? Just a hunch. :)

Awesome (just for you Gabby). So cute and you are right, when did she get so big to say that?
Ella keeps saying "Oh Man" and it makes me think the same thing :)

You updated your blog! :) I LOVE the "cow's food" comment. Who knew that cows enjoyed mac 'n cheese. I also love that she thinks she's ready to stay home on her own already. They grow up so fast!
Gabby's funnies encouraged me to share one of Moira's recent funny comments. For all blog readers who may not know, Moira is Gabby's cousin who is only six weeks younger.
In any case, a bit of history... Moira was taking a bath the other day and she had her first (and hopefully only) number 2 accident in the bath tub. It was gross and required a lot of scooping and scrubbing to get it clean. The next time she took a bath, I used Johnson's baby shampoo on her hair vs. the all-over baby wash I had been using. Moira told me after her bath when she was getting dried off that she liked the "shampoop." I started dying with laughter from the reminder of her not-so-nice last bath!
