The "Terrierble" Twos

Most of you know that our daughter is going through her "terrible twos" stage. She is ornery, stubborn, strong-willed, and sometimes downright annoying. As crazy as she can be, there are moments of the day when our pooch gives her a run for her money. Overall, he is a great dog. He spends most of his day lounging around and chilling out, but once 4 pm hits, he starts to get more rambunctious and in our faces. Let's face it - the dog just wants to play! He used to get so much more attention before Gabrielle came along. He is so good with her and even lets her throw his bone for him, but certainly she is no "master" in his eyes.
I love the dog, really I do, but in addition to everything else, he sheds like a maniac. That, I could do without. The Parent Bloggers Network is sponsoring a contest this month promoting the Pledge Fabric Sweeper. The Fabric Sweeper is supposed to pick up a much greater amount of pet hair than sticky rollers or other hair pet removal tools. Pledge is also holding a photo contest to "Show Off Your Shedder." You can win $5,000 for sending them a photo of your shedding animal. I might have to look into this fabric sweeper thing!
Does Jack's white hair on my rug annoy me beyond belief? Yes. Does his hair get on our couch? Probably, but we try to keep him on blankets. Does it appear on random articles of clothing? All the time. Would I give the little guy up to get rid of his hair? Of course not. He's a part of our family and although he can be crazy and his breath is wretched, we love him all the same.

Love the title...love the Jackers!

I had a breakdown about pet hair when pregnant with Beau and went out and bought the leather furniture so I wouldn't have to deal with cleaning the couches anymore! At least your animal does not waller on your bed all day like mine do....ugh!
