Bubbly
She was being so funny in the bath tonight, I just had to capture it on video!
Here are some other funnies from this week:
1. At the grocery store on Thursday, Gabby was doing something naughty and I called her a "stinker." She looked right at an older gentleman who was pushing his cart past us and said, "I'm not a stinker! I'm a big girl!"
2. Gabby: "Mom, you have gum?"
Me: "Yes, I have gum."
Gabby: "I have gum?"
Me: "No, you can't have gum. You are too little."
Gabby: "When I be a mommy I have gum?"
Me: "Yes, when you become a mommy, you can have gum."
Gabby: "And go potty on the BIG potty?"
Me: "Yes, and go potty on the big potty."
Gabby: "And CLEAN THE KITCHEN?!?!"
Me: "Yes, baby. You can even clean the kitchen."
Wow. My kid must think I am so cool for being able to go to the potty on the big potty AND clean the kitchen. Being a mom is great! ;)
3. Before dinner this evening...
Me: "Gabby, do you want Mommy to make hamburgers for dinner tonight?"
Gabby: "No, I want 'ickdonald had a farm' hamburgers."
Me: "You mean 'McDonald's?"
Gabby: "No, ickdonald had a farm - E-I-E-I-O - hamburgers."
Somehow I have a feel even Old McDonald ate at the golden arches.
4. Friday morning at breakfast:
Me: "Gabby, you better hurry up so we can go meet Marielle at the Children's Museum."
Gabby: "No Mommy! We not meetin' Marielle. We meetin' Madeline."
Me: "I'm sorry. I meant to say Madeline. I was just reading Marielle's blog and said her name by accident."
Gabby: "You not a very good mom."
That's my stinker.

That video was absolutely hysterical!! Her laughter is seriously infectious. I love that she finds so much joy in little things like bubbles and cracks herself up! She is such a doll!
The stories were too cute as well. Man, if I had only known in jr. high that being cool involved the big potty and cleaning the kitchen, I would never wasted any money on my Swatch Watches and Eastland pennyloafers!
Did you happen to tell Gabby that the reason you thought it was Marielle and not Madeline is because you have Mommy Brain? This is what comes with the oh-so-cool cleaning the kitchen and big potty. :) Although, I think I had Mommy Brain LOOOOONG before the kids came along!
That is such an adorable video! I am impressed with how she does with the bubbles on her face (up until the end at least). Most kids (okay, maybe just mine) don't like having anything soap-like on their faces! Good job, Gabby- and I just love the giggling!

#4 cracks me up. Because you mixed up Marielle and Madda you are a bad mom...that is hysterical! And if that is her criteria for a bad mom, who knows what Gabby would call me :)

Oh my gosh that bath video was too funny! She was cracking herself up! I love it when they laugh hard like that. Good job getting it on film.
