Kenton saw an awesome deal online this past week for free Pacers tickets (well, plus some service fees of course). He and Gabby were going to make a daddy/daughter date out of it, but I was able to tag along since my voice classes had been canceled due to the snow. Kenton's step-sister Johnna works as a server at the Varsity Club, a restaurant where you can sit at the railing and watch the game while enjoying your meal. As you can see from the photos, the game was exciting and Gabby loved watching everything going on around her. She didn't know where we were going or what we were going to see, but she really liked getting to hold a ticket to something in her hand.

She cheered on the Pacers with the best of them (well, until we had to leave...hey, the girl still has to get her beauty rest) and told me that either the white team OR the red team (the Bulls) would win. Good deduction, Gabrielle. When asked what her favorite part of the game was, she said, "the frisbee dogs!" At halftime, not only did a member of our armed forces get engaged (he proposed to his girlfriend in front of the crowd...very cute), but two awesome Australian something dogs came out and wowed us with their frisbee capabilities. Those dogs can JUMP! They were so cute, I had to put a few videos on her blog of the dogs. The last video is of Gabrielle dancing to the Jock Jam music they play. What moves she has! I think she'll have the "Elaine Dance" down pat pretty soon.

What a fun time! Looks like Gabby had a blast, and I just love the pic of her and Kenton. Free tickets? Free dinner? FANTASTIC (aka really jealous over here!)!
Did you notice that one of those dogs was Windsor? HA! The only thing our dog would chase is a big, fat treat. But maybe I could have gotten free tickets if he would catch a frisbee?
What a fun time!
I second Leslie's comment--I love the picture of Kenton and Gabby! What a great (free) night! Sometimes those are the best. :)
I couldn't get the last video to play...it said it was currently unavailable. I will have to check back later...it sounds like she and I have similar dancing skills. :)
I couldn't get any of the videos to play, but the pictures are great! Looks like a fun family evening out. :)
