I love that last pouty picture of her, only because I never see her with that face! She’s always smiling and happy! It looks like you all weathered the storm well, although I think Jack was the winner, getting all of that attention! Love reading the update- I miss your blog! Are you sure you can’t blog more often? This post just made me cry. #14 in particular made me cry. What an amazing little girl to have that much feeling and emotion at such a young age. She is wise beyond her years, and she’s proven that by choosing her fantastic Mommy to emulate.

Happy belated birthday Gabby! Gosh I don’t know where my brain has been. I knew her big day was coming up! What a sweet trip down memory lane. I can’t believe it’s been 4 years already. Even though we don’t get to see you all very often, I can tell by your blog she is a really wonderful little girl. You both are so blessed. Here’s to fun and adventures for the next year!

What a sweet post! I am one of those mamas who thinks that 4 is just a lovely age. It’s really funny that at least half of what you wrote I could have written about Grace! Well, except the coloring. Gabby is definitely the queen of coloring! Grace just has very little interest, I guess.

You two have such a great relationship, and I am happy to see that it has grown even more since you went back to work. Happy (almost) birthday, Gabby!

I’m sitting at my desk at work crying tears of joy (forget my makeup for the rest of the day–thanks, Em!) for the love so fully expressed. The mother-daughter loving/bonding gene apparently has been passed along and is multiplying exponentially. Real proof that love is inclusive not exclusive and that time invested in parentlng is the most important time one can devote. Happy Birthday a little early, Gabby. Not only did your mom (and dad) get a gift from God with your birth, but we all received one having your mom (and dad, too!) in our lives. So many blessings to be thankful for as you turn four!
